Case: FABIT - Increasing lead quality

FABIT is a Belgian company specializing in 3D printing, and more specifically in trophy printing. They are in a market with quite a few competitors, but these competitors cannot offer the same quality of product and design. As advertisers for this client, we naturally want to put our quality at least as high as theirs.

Objectives

FABIT offers custom printed 3D trophies of the highest quality. Our goal is to get these into the spotlight of the right people within companies or organizations who would be looking for such a trophy. Of course, this is easier said than done, because "custom" trophies come in all sorts of sizes and colors. Our client's competitors serve their ads on the same keywords as us, yet their product is so different that we can't compare them. You can't put a 3D printed trophy for a prestigious esports event in the same category as a cup for a local youth soccer tournament.

Approach

The target audience of FABIT consists entirely of business-to-business. Therefore, part of our strategy is not to set our targeting too broadly. We even dived into region targeting to specifically set our sights on certain business areas. We don't just reach these target groups through Google, as well as with Microsoft advertising.

Offline conversion tracking

In order to separate the wheat from the chaff, we chose FABIT offline conversion tracking set. This allows us to further filter conversions coming in through the ads into conversions that are effectively qualified. When we send this data back to Google or Microsoft, we can direct our bidding strategies towards these valuable conversions. This way, we strengthen and algorithm and the overall quality of leads goes up.

Conclusion

Through clever targeting, we manage to get custom trophies from FABIT to the right profiles. Through the use of offline conversions, we can clearly see which conversions have become qualified.
